Training Information

Training Season 2009 - 2010
Our normal training times are as follows, however, during the off-season a number of 'trials' are held, you will be invited to the necessary trial for your age group and your ability. These will not be published here, but you will be instructed by your current team manager of the correct trial to attend. During this time some normal training sessions will not be run, once again, you will be instructed by your team manager of which training session to attend and which training sessions are not running.

During school holidays Planet Ice usually wish to run extra public skating sessions and some training sessions have to be adjusted or, in extreme circumstances, cancelled. Once again all of this information will be passed down to Team Managers who will inform you of any changes.

Training Up
To view training up policy - CLICK HERE

The manager of the invited team will give the names of players proposed for 'training up' to the manager of the team issuing the invitation one week in advance. The coach who has made the invitation will then confirm that he accepts the proposed selection, or not, so that players can have plenty of notice.

The coach's decision is final. Player's safety should be of prime concern.

(Note: Players normally train up one age group. Girls may also train down one age group at the coache's discretion.)
