About the Club

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Academy was formed to give young people throughout Coventry and Warwickshire the opportunity to play ice hockey. We play in junior and youth leagues administered by the English Ice Hockey Association (EIHA).

For the 2011-2012 season we have one team at U10 and U18 and two teams at U12, U14, U16 (Coventry Blaze and Mercian Menace). In order to play in an age group, a player must be under the age limit on 31st December. For example, for the 2011-2012 season an Under 10 player must be born in 2002 or later. 

 

Aims & Objectives

> To develop young Ice Hockey players for the benefit of both the Junior Academy and Senior Ice Hockey Club.

> To organise, develop and promote junior Ice Hockey consistent with the aims and objectives of the English Ice Hockey Association.

> To raise and provide financial support directly or indirectly for the benefit of Junior Ice Hockey and the Academy in particular.

Trial dates have been confirmed as Week Commencing 10th June and Week commencing 17th June with a view to be in your new team selections by week Commencing 24th June.
